The toilets in the Golf Club house will be the closest to the ponds, and believe me that’s not that close or quick to get back to, you have been warned.
From the car park we have a five minute drive down some single lane tracks to the lakes. We all need to go in one convoy as I have several coded gates to open so it’s important that we’re all there and leave as one group if possible.
Neither of the lakes gets much angling pressure. Carp to 20lb will take most baits. Tench, Bream, Roach Perch etc. also in either of the lakes. With bags of silvers to 30lb achieved recently.
For those that have not been here before the location is quiet and very pretty with plenty of lily pads and several islands to fish to. The paths around both lakes are level and grassed.
Anyone who wants to pop over to fish just the Saturday not a problem equally everyone is welcome to stay overnight; I just need to know your plans so I can cater accordingly.
I’ll do something light for lunch, an evening meal and Sunday’s breakfast with hot drinks available throughout the day as normal.
Important that you book in for this one as we are being allocated day tickets and I need to collect the correct amount a day prior. If after booking in you need to cancel please keep me posted.
Rules for the lakes.
No tents, bivvies, or umbrellas with storm sides. (Let me know if this is an issue for you if staying overnight because they can be tucked up during the day and let down at dark)
No angler to publicise any information relating to these lakes please.
Surface fishing is ok. Will advise on the day if this is not the case.
Most likely your only be fishing at a couple of rods length. Cough whilst casting and your hit the far bank, here. Just fish to the large beds of lilies.
