20.05.17 – Flyfishing on Dartmoor
Our May event at FishabilityUK with a fly rod takes us down to the Westcountry, to fish one of the first reservoirs in Europe ever to be stocked with rainbow trout! Built in 1884, Kennick fishery is a few miles north of the village of Hennock on the east side of Dartmoor, with the fishery run by the South West Lakes Trust since 2000.
Meet at the fishery lodge at 08.30 on Saturday 20th May, with breakfast lunch and tea supplied and a full day’s flyfishing including instruction.
From mid May to the end of June, the fishery is looking at it’s best, with the rhododendrons in full bloom.
